Hi, I’m Chip — a woodturner and maker based in northeast Ohio. I create handcrafted pieces from reclaimed, storm-fallen, and locally sourced wood, giving each log a second life on the lathe. My work celebrates the natural beauty in every knot, grain, and imperfection, turning what might have been firewood into something meaningful and lasting.
After surviving a battle with cancer, I found new purpose in the meditative rhythm of woodturning — shaping not just wood, but hope, creativity, and connection. Every bowl, light, and sculpture I make carries a bit of that story — a reminder that even fallen trees can become something special.
